In early April I visited old friends, Dal&Beverly, in Hawaii on the Big Island near Pahoa...my first time there and I was very impressed...all the exotic-to-me vegetation, flowers, trees...so many interesting & attractive people, many living closer to nature than I do here...and the ever presence of the old Hawaian culture, being in a minority in an Asian culture, such a great air temperature and your water free from the catchment of rain water...wow!..way easier living than here, that`s for sure... Beverly is a painter and has been making stained glass for over 20 years now... her wonderful stained glass creations are in many homes both in Hawaii and around the world... there`s a thumbnail of one of her works below on the right...anyway, the Big Island is quite the paradise and I wanna go back :-) :-) :-) |
